AI Development (Artificial Intelligence)

Access to Artificial Intelligence (AI) grants the ability to generate files through AI training. This feature is considered advanced, often unlocked near the "endgame" phase of progression.

Unlocking and Components

Unlocking AI requires a lot of science (research points). Once unlocked, the key nodes are located under the GPU section.

Core Nodes

The AI pipeline utilizes specialized nodes to manage training and generation:

• AI Trainer: This node requires GPU speed as an input, along with source files, to create neurons.
• Generators: These utilize the neurons created by the trainer. Current options include Large Language Models for text generation and image generation.

The AI training process generates a ton of heat, which necessitates the later unlocking of a cooling system to manage the temperature.

AI Process Flow

The AI pipeline streamlines file processing by replacing numerous conventional nodes.

1. Input: The AI Trainer requires raw files as input. These are defined as files that have not undergone traditional processing steps like antivirus scanning, checksum verification, or redownloading. For example, in text generation, raw text files from the network downloader are connected directly to the AI Trainer.
2. Training: The AI Trainer uses the GPU speed and raw file data to train the model, producing text neurons or image neurons. This training process, which involves feeding the large language model a vast amount of data, takes a long time.
3. Generation: The neurons are routed to the specific generator (e.g., Text Generator or Image Generator). The AI process then cleans up and alters the incoming files.
4. Output: The output files are automatically designated as high-quality. They have all viruses stripped out, a checksum performed, and the AI tag added. The file output is then ready for collection or further enhancement.

Benefits and Efficiency

The primary advantage of using the AI pipeline is simplifying and accelerating the production line for high-value files:

• Process Replacement: The AI text generator can replace the checksum and redownloading steps. The process eliminates the need for the checksum verifier, redownloader, quarantine/folder systems, and virus scanner.
• Virus Removal: The AI automatically strips out viruses.
• Check Integrity: The output files include a checksum and the AI tag, indicating verified integrity.
• Batch Production: Once trained, the system will fire off large batch files of data. These batches can be very large (e.g., clusters equivalent to billions of files).

After generation, these high-value files can be sent directly to the Uploader/Auto Collector or routed through Enhancer nodes.

Optimization

To speed up the training and generation process, players can connect multiple GPUs to the AI Trainer.

Subsequent advanced unlocks available after AI implementation focus on further optimization:

• Overclocking: (Unlocks after AI).
• Data Distillation: Unlocks the distillator node, which is used to distill file data for improved neuron production.
